    Yay Rand Fishkin!

    He’s always got good information.
Good information about blogging for business. It is true, there is more than just tossing up a blog.

    However..I don’t agree with the domain.com/bog vs blog.domain idea.

Here’s why: If you use a sub domain, your articles tend to be recognized and show up as “indented” results. So, you get a wider spread of results.

What I mean is, if you have your blog as /blog, then in the serp it will show up as an “indented result” under your main site. however, if you have it as blog.domain.com then posts you make to that url will show up as indented results as WELL as your site, and it’s indented results.
