The point about Facebook should be taken seriously. Customers are joining facebook and they will be starting to look up their real estate agent. It is a fun and easy place to be. I think video is also something that is easy to do and can be done quickly with the new tools that are available. If you add in the fact that many aren't doing video it is a great point of differentiation.

I agree Twitter is definately a great outreach tool, but it takes time to leverage it properly :P

I think meetup is helpful, but be sure to leverage other online "Event" websites like http://upcoming.yahoo.com www.eventful.com and others to get wider exposure for your events.

Pretty good list to get the ball rolling. Agent also might want to try contacting their COI and let them know that rates are coming down and prices are getting pretty low and do they know anyone looking to buy some real estate. The good ol fashion way :-) Prospecting -always works if you do!! Have a great 2009
