While browsing Zillow Advice this evening, I saw this question from a buyer wanting approximate dimensions for the rooms for this listing in Albuquerque, NM. Additionally, I saw Larry Lohrman’s post today talking about some simple yet inexpensive ways to provide floor plans at Photography for Real Estate. I think it’s obvious many (not all) consumers are curious about the dimensions of the rooms for a listing they are interested in. How else are they going to know whether their couch will fit in the den? Or whether a queen sized bed and a nightstand will fit in the guest bedroom?

It begs the question — are you providing online floorplans for your listings? If so, what technology providers are you using and what do you think of their products?

Check out http://www.planomatic.com. We provide full service on the West Coast, S. Florida, Colorado, W. Michigan and soon the E. Coast.

This topic seems to be raised more and more lately. Interesting, and thanks for bringing it up Drew!

Thanks for info. Though we have room dimensions on our listings, i've had an out of town client ask me to draw the floorplans for him since he wasn't around to view the homes. I sometimes try to find out the builder of the home and see if the floorplan is still on their website.
