Blogging Lessons via Selling a Home – 9 Tips from Darren Rowse

Darren Rowse at ProBlogger published a fantastic post early this morning titled “9 Lessons You Can Learn about Blogging from Watching Me Sell My House.” Darren gives his 1st hand experience of his home being on the market for the last 4 weeks & how those learnings can be applied to blogging. I don’t want to spill the beans, but here’s his first two lessons -

  1. Small Things Matter
  2. Tell a Story, Not Just the Facts

I couldn’t agree more with lesson #2 — writing is all about telling a story. As a blogger, if you’re not telling your audience a compelling story with your writing (or pointing them to others w/ a story to tell), you’ll find it hard to maintain a loyal audience. Head to ProBlogger to read Darren’s story!
