Showing off a listing with large (800×600) photos presented with a smooth, elegant Flash interface is an extremely effective. One of the easiest an most inexpensive ways of doing that is with a buildatour.com slide show. Out of hundreds of alternatives for presenting this kind of Flash slide show for a property I think buildatour slide shows are the most impressive. Primarily because of it’s use of large images that load fast. Here’s an example I used on one of my wife’s listings.
I think the major reason to use a tour is to do something that goes way above and beyond the way photos are presented on the major real estate sites. Large image slide shows are a great way to do this. They create a high impact visual impression that gets attention. And in today’s market it’s all about getting attention!

I really like the look of this presentation. It’s unfortunate that they trigger the Windows pop up blocker.
Larry, what kinds of limitations exist on the total number of photos that can be used?
Thanks.

Norm,
Yes, I’d rather they just opened a standard window too.
The photo limit is huge… I believe it’s either unlimited or around 75.

Ahh, firefox popup blocker stops it.
Looks good once you get it open.

Steve & Norm,
The two window, pop-up way my buildatour example was displaying was due to the way I was linking to the tour. There are two ways to link to buildatours and I was using the pop-up version… I’ve fixed the link above to use the more conventional standard window link.
