BuildDirect: “Watch Us Wreck a Floor”

BuildDirect.com, the world’s leading online manufacturer-wholesaler of building materials has stepped into the social media scene in an interesting way. They have decided to test how tough their laminate flooring is by installing the indoor flooring on their OUTSIDE deck on the penthouse floor of their downtown Vancouver office.     How fun! I’m definitely watching to see how it turns out. The flooring they chose has a lifetime warranty for RESIDENTIAL living, so it should be interesting to see how it holds up under the outdoor elements.

    Thanks Steve for the write-up. We’re pretty excited to see the results. We’re looking forward to having some fun with it, and in involving our readers too. Hopefully everyone will learn something valuable about laminate flooring once we’re finished. And who knows? Maybe by the time we’re finished with this, there’ll be something else we’re going to be willing to destroy for everyone’s amusement (mostly our own?).
