Peyman this is a really good list of suggested topics. There's an endless number of things to write about but sometimes having a list with a bunch of ideas spelled out - a structure of sorts - is just what I need to prime the pump. I'm going to post this by my computer to keep me on track. Thanks!

Great advice. The longtail is not only less competitive, but also is more targeted traffic that typically converts better. The big city real real estate rankings are nice to have, but you will make more money ranking for several longtail niche keywords.

I want to niche neighborhoods into my website, but would like to see a real estate website that incorporates what you said earlier: Map, sold stats, schools, shopping, Walkscore stats from www.walkscore.com, condos and homes for sale, and what was not mentioned, but would like to see: video. Any examples out there?

nice intro of how to set up niche content on a site. couple that with content geared towards a target market and you'll be pretty psyched about the quality of traffic you attract.
