Diverse Solutions Adds Walk Score Functionality

No surprise here — Diverse Solutions is the 1st national IDX provider to add yet another new technology into their search experience (the last being their integration of Dwellicious). This time, they’re the 1st IDX provider to enable Walk Score integration into the search experience for their clients. Features just added:
- Search by Walk Score (which Estately has also integrated)
- Filter by Walk Score
- View the Walk Score in both search results and property details
- View the Walk Score tile

Walk Score is a wonderful feature to offer! There are so many times people ask what is nearby-and though I do a great job of knowing what is close-it can be hard to remember some of the great things in walking distance to neighborhoods-like local eateries or consigment stores or parks! What a great tool to keep me updated on everything in an area AND to offer for clients browsing around my site-I will be looking into adding this to my idx results page. Thanks for getting the word out; I had not heard of Walk Source til I came here!

Walk Score is a great tool, esp for the home buyers that are new to the area or for home buyers that want to be more green. Even if a home is older and not “green”, if you can walk to everything you need, it may end up being “greener” than an actual “green” home where you have to drive everywhere.
