It surprises me that MLS's are allowing you to use old listing photos in a new listing. I have been in 3 MLS's - Pikes Peak Association of Realtors, Houston Association of Realtors, and MRIS and it was my understanding that none of them allowed this. And the idea of Google archiving interior pictures of people's homes... if this is really the case, I can see a lot of people having a problem with this. It's one thing for a home owner to upload pictures of their own home or for an agent to upload to upload pictures to market a home for sale, but people are very privacy-sensitive. Most will probably take exception with Google treating interior pictures of their home as open-source content to be indexed and aggregated and shared. This is why I thought this may be a prank. Could you imagine a home owner doing a search on Google and by chance seeing a picture of his daughter's bedroom online? OK great.
