An Amazing Example of a Minimalist Broker Home Page
Take a look at the brand new McMillin Realty site. It’s by far and away the best example of a minimalist design for a brokerage site that I’ve seen. I personally absolutely love the “Did you know that McMillin Realty can also help you with…” call to action. Just the other day, I mentioned via email to the geek build participants I’d love to see the home page design with JUST search and a call to action that says “Not interested in searching homes?” that directs … Read More »
Geek Build 2012 – ClearwaterBeachLife.com Semi-Final.

But this is a new era and like Emilio Estevez says in the movie “we’re gonna show these guys … Read More »

It was a very tough decision for me at the time because I had also just decided to launch a real estate brokerage. I weighed the advantages/disadvantages carefully, and although I knew that developing a company was going to require my full attention – I decided to move forward with the MBA program for a number of reasons. I’m fascinated by education. I’m a terrible student … Read More »
Where Have All the Real Estate Bloggers Gone?
SAD DAY today when I was looking for one of my favorite real estate blogs (FOREM), and it was nowhere to be found. Where have the bloggers gone? I suspect two things: mother companies like Inman or Zillow want to go in a different direction. Or blogger cannot be sustained by the current business model. My hunch is it’s usually the second one. Bless you Drew, for trudging forward (and successfully.) I have been blogging for five years and I’ve stopped twice, for a combined … Read More »
