Google Insights – My Favorite Real Estate Keyword Research Tool

There are a lot of keyword research tools out there, but Google Insights is not one that doesn’t get much love. Which is strange to me since I feel it is one of the most powerful real estate keyword tools around.

The thing I like is that you can add multiple keywords and not only see the difference in search volume, but the trend in search volume over time. This allows you to pick up on keywords that may be growing in traffic but aren’t as competitive as established keywords for your niche. This is a great way to target low cost of entry terms.

You can also search across different locations and Google’s different search engines (like Google Images).

This shouldn’t be the only keyword tool you use, but definitely a great one to have in your arsenal.

Wow, I'd never seen that tool before, but I like it better than adwords already. Nice find.

Yes, this is kind of a hiddend tool. Most people only know about Google Trends.

I have been using it for a while now and have been able to pick up several real estate related terms, especially for the Oahu and Honolulu market here in Hawaii.

Thanks for the post Justin. I did a quick search on virtual tours on Google Insight as that's part of my niche and was interested to see it's gone down quite a bit.

I agree with your post.. real estate is best key word if you are buying a home.. By the way.. I'm surfing the internet and foun this website.. http://realestatecrusher.com/ shows how RE agents can benefit through social media like facebook and youtube. But it's not just real estate marketing alone, it's even applicable to any kind of business.. It is really a great site..
