Google has released an iPhone specific version of its popular instant messaging client, GoogleTalk. I had a chance this evening to give it a try during a brief chat session with Drew Meyers and I must say it worked flawlessly. The speed is good and the simplicity of the interface stays true to the desktop client. GoogleTalk for the iPhone works entirely in the Safari browser and can be accessed by going to Google.Com/Talk and logging in with your Google credentials. IM me at 360Podcast and let me know what you think. Cheers! MP

Question: I’ve heard that there is software that can be used with the IPhone to make calls without using the minutes. When dialing using the google software, are your minutes being used?
