Drew, someone actually using those keywords in their email is quite amusing to be honest. Some people just don't get it – and it's beyond annoying to say the least. If it weren't for great comment spam plugins, we'd all be hating life. We should all be thanking the providers of the best plugins daily, imo Cheers, Matthew

I have found Akismet does a good job of stopping 95% of spam comments but they just look blatantly obvious its a spam comment when you look at it from the word press admin screen. What I have found site doing now is reposting your article content and sending a trackback to the original site. Doesnt matter how much you try these people will always find new ways to spam a blog no matter how hard we try to stop them

My favorite are on 3 different posts the same IP address pops up with comments from 3 different people, all with a link back to the same site. Usually put up at 3 am. It makes hitting the spam key easy.
