Hi Drew,

Thanks for the article and I do agree, to an extent with what you are saying.

Blogging is becoming more and more important both from the perspective of "getting your message out there" but also from an SEO perspective. Ultimately, in this market, it is also free and the only investment is time. You cannot get much better than that.

However, my one thought, looking forward several months/years maybe. Use of video is going to become widespread and so you are going to come across the same challenges i.e. making yours different and more interactive or better informed etc etc.

If everyone just picks up the camera and talks into it very soon people will just switch of and so variety is the order of the day in my book.

I have certainly learnt a lot in the past six months since I really looked into Web 2.0 and its implications on Real Estate - I am convinced that it is going to stay and so make time for it everyday. Feel free if you have the time to check out my blog from a couple of months ago (really need to review this now and update considering I have learnt so much since!) about the First month of Social Media - http://jamesdearsley.wordpress.com/2009/04/27/my-thoughts-about-social-media-after-my-first-month/

It is certainly an interesting period of business at the moment and we are really in a period of transition which is most exciting

Best wishes.

Hey Drew,
Thanks for the mention! Would love to talk to you about it sometime.

Liked the video... he makes some valid points, but I didn't like the choppy editing.
