Microsoft’s new Street Slide blows away Google Maps Street View

Absolutely amazing new map technology will soon be released from Microsoft. You must watch this video to understand how Street Slide could make you stop using Google Maps.

Think about it – you could make a street level tour of a neighborhood for a potential buyer and incorporate it into your listing for people who aren’t familiar with the area.

In the world of maps, this may be a game changer. Watch the video and consider the possibilities for selling real estate!

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing this. I already use Google Maps extensively to prepare for showings and listing presentations, but this does blow that out of the water. Great news!

Wow. I see tons of potential business uses. All that space at the top and bottom is prime for businesses offering specials (via paid advertising) including pulling real estate listings into the map.

I also think it will be a game changer for real estate buyers who are trying to decide on an area or street that they aren’t familiar with. Whether it is across town or across the country, buyers can get a real feel for the area. I can’t wait until this is incorporated into my IDX!

Had no idea that they could pull out of the bubble and make a fully steamed side-view of the street…taking maps and street view to an entirely new level, crazy! Thanks for the post!

Working in a market where a large number of buyers purchase sight-unseen, this can be a great educational tool for buyers to perform due diligence. And well, obviously there is an array of marketing opportunities to go along with it.

Cool! I’ve been using google maps in my business like client meet-ups etc., and it just works perfectly advantageous on my part. Exploring the city is never a hassle at all.
