I've always thought that the big prize should be providing an effective means to actually sell real estate and getting video content in front of likely buyers. Does having an army of videographers help towards that goal in any way? Likely not....especially when few of these companies actually control their vertical from end to end in terms of customer service, production standards, distribution, billing, and marketing. Then again, keeping the focus on the "metric of least resistance" means not having to worry about those pesky things like video views or quality leads generated. To expand the line from Star Wars, "these aren't the video metrics that you are looking for..." Sigh.
