You may have already seen the news (Techmeme coverage), but news voting site reddit is now open source.
I’m not sure how many web developers will be at RE Bar Camp, but it could be fun project to build a real estate version of reddit as one of the sessions, or at least spec the requirements and code the site at a later date.
Or there is always that “techmeme for real estate” idea that I love…

I like that idea, Drew! I don’t think I’ll be at RE Bar Camp, nor am I a web developer, but it is a great thought, and I will be interested to see if anything comes of it!

Great idea! But, I already did this for ZIPVO - http://www.zipvo.com/News - check it out. Digg/Reddit for real estate.
I think GeekEstate should add a “ZIP IT!” button to the site
And I am a web developer who will be at RE Bar Camp and am down for any coding parties that take place.

Great idea. TechCrunch just released their version at http://technews.techcrunch.com/ That was quick.
I try to be at the RE Bar Camp. James, we could do some co-coding.
