Some New APIs for the New York City Real Estate Market

If you are an agent, broker, or web developer in the New York City real estate market — there is a new real estate API from the New York Times that you may want to check out. Here are the four specific API calls that make up the Real Estate API:

The APIs give you aggregate data for real estate listings and sales in the five boroughs of New York City. Listings data is from the NYT classifieds service, and covers 2007–present (one-day delay). The sales data is from the New York City Department of Finance and covers 2003–2008. This data could very useful for sites that want to show a high level real estate market comparisons between ZIPs, neighborhoods, or boroughs.

Congrats to the NYT development team for getting this out the door!
