I used back in 2001 and looked like a 1993 DOS program back then. It was terrible. They went online because they realized they were going to swirl down the drain. Why would you get sucked in to paying a monthly fee when you can own your database for a onetime price. Try Real Estate Success Tools. I don't use it any longer because I found a better program on the Mac (Daylite). If you are using Windows go with REST. It has an iPhone app as well and you won't be wasting money every month. They should be able to walk you through easily. This simply creates an opportunity so that every time somebody registers on your IDX to save searches etc that they drop into Top Producer as a lead. You can build follow up plans including calls and emails to drip campaign them that can be applied automatically when they are imported into Top Producer. This same tactic should be incorporated into any and all forms on your website contact forms as well. Second note is that any technology group or software company will only fix the "squeaky wheel" so if you want certain things to happen then the best thing to do is to contact them directly and tell them. Then make sure you tell everybody you know to also contact them about the same thing. You can almost guarantee that if you are able to generate a high enough demand for the fix that they will change it. Just make sure that you always ask that it gets added as a suggested fix. This blog is a great place to start telling people to get on the ban wagon. So if your reading this blog and you agree or have ideas don’t just post it here make sure you contact Top Producer and let them know.
