Treo Video
By Michael Price | August 29, 2007

I love everything about the iPhone, when it comes to real estate I have to be a realist. The defacto smart phone in this business is the Palm Treo. It’s ability to interact with the Supra lock box via its infrared connection have made it the phone of choice for REALTORS®. One of the best add on software features for the Treo is the Kinoma Player. A new version of the Kinoma software was released recently. “Built to stream from the ground up”, this software turns your Treo into a true multimedia device. Video podcasts, flash video and more are supported. I’ve seen it in action and couldn’t imagine owning a Treo without it. So, if you have to choose second best when it comes to a smart phone
, it would be wise to fork over the $25 bones to add this powerful piece of software to your Treo.

I agree the iphone is flashy but not practical for a Realtor. Or anyone that doesn’t want to get into a contract with at&t. I just wish I could afford the palm treo. Can you get them second hand?

Here’s what ebay shows:

There are many Treos for sale in Craigslist as well.
I still think the iPhone is practical for Realtors, the only drawback is the lack of Infrared to unlock the Supras. There are already discounted refurb iPhones available on Apple’s site at a $100 discount as well.
