Walk Score Releases iPhone App

Walk Score has a new iPhone app (available in the appstore for free) that I’m sure the iPhone geeks reading this are going to want to check out. The primary function of the app is to show you the Walk Score of your current location, along with nearby amenities. Via their blog, you can use the app to get:
- The Walk Score of any location
- Map of nearby amenities with walking directions
- No more typing addresses! (use GPS instead)
- Reviews and ratings of amenities
I just downloaded the app and installed it and think the concept and implementation is great. If I had to guess, the biggest complaint is going to be speed — it took several seconds for the app the pull the Walk Score value for the lat/long I’m currently at. But that said, I’d still venture a guess that it won’t be too long before Walk Score ends up on this list of most useful iPhone apps for real estate pros.
