What is your home’s Walk Score?

WalkScore.com LogoFor any agents out there working with buyers, especially for those that are looking to buy in the city, here is a great website to build the value of the area you are showing. It’s called WalkScore.com and it is a pretty cool site. Living in Portland, OR, I wasn’t too surprised to find that my walk score was pretty high (88 out of 100). Showing off a condo in the city, or working with a seller, try putting their walk score into your listing presentation and see what happens. From my experience, in the age where green is the way to go, getting a good walk score could be the last piece that turns a lead into a client.

About Kurtis Holsapple

Currently I reside in Portland, OR. While not a real estate agent, I work closely with agents on many levels. When I'm not providing in house tech support at a local Keller Williams office, I'm developing web sites or working behind the scenes of PlugMyListing.com. I love computers and new technology, and above it all open source. If you don't know what that is, think of computers with a worldwide support team, no file format conflicts and unlimited options for plugins or upgrades. All for free. No, really, it all exists and has for years.
