The “365 Things to Do in [City Name]” concept worked for a few people like Dale Chumbley who made it the whole way though. What’s the the next big thing agents/brokers are going to try on Facebook to gain traffic and engagement?

Here’s an idea — how about a “365 Things to Do Worldwide” that highlights amazing things to do all over the world? Who would not love to see photos of amazing diving expeditions, rock climbing, beaches, or skiing. And you know what? The people who would follow “365 Things to Do Worldwide” (or however you want to brand it) are likely the exact high end buyers and sellers that agents want to reach and build a relationship with; the people with lots of money to buy 2nd and 3rd (and 4th) homes in high end markets throughout the country.

Granted, it would take a big national brand with considerable resources to pull it off. Or some sort of collective group of “RE.net’ers” who all tackle it together and jointly benefit from the exposure the initiative receives. Maybe a RE.net group that includes agents from Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, LA, Austin, Miami, New York, Charlotte, Jackson Hole, Vale, Tahoe, and Chicago (and a few other popular vacation spots around the country). I think a group of bloggers who have traveled a bit could do a pretty darn good job. And I would certainly bet that a project like this would generate SEO juice for the “home blog” where the project resided — which could then be shared back with each agent’s respective website.

Any takers?
