I suspect there is generally a certain demographic that uses the Alexa toolbar, and likely certain demographics where few if any use it. I suspect there is generally a certain demographic that uses the Alexa toolbar, and likely certain demographics where few if any use it. I don’t know if Alexa toolbar users are truly representative of the general population.

It may be fairly accurate for high traffic sites (such as are on this list), but it is WAY off for the vast majority of sites.
