Why It Matters When Mortgage Guidelines Change
By Drew Meyers | January 18, 2008
Dan Green, who authors The Mortgage Reports, put together a great video worth watching on the subject of “Why it matters when mortgage guidelines change.”
I’m certainly no mortgage expert, but Dan “dumbed” down the issue so regular consumers like me can understand mortgage guideline changes - well done.

We are very angry with information provided by Zillow.com! One cannot correct erroneous and harmful information that they are not aware is being published! We are selling our home, by owner, and were unaware of your site until a potential buyer told us about it. He was very skeptical of our pricing. Now I see why. You have our home in the incorrect location, and show our neighbors home (very small)on your mapping software. You have almost all incorrect data on our home and do not provided information on it’s current status. It has been completely renovated inside and out, with very high quality features and extensive landscaping (at a 6 figure cost which is not your business). You do not mention our second garage with paved driveway. The comparables are ridiculous, not even close in sq. ft., quality, lot size or features. Our price of $389,900 was less than market comps given to us by 5 leading York County realtors. Your published incorrect analysis, home photo, and location has possibly lessened our credibility on the market for those potential buyers who accessed it. I request that you go to our listing #21209822 on “Forsalebyowner.com” and compare it to your published information on Zillow.com for: 6732 Sunrise Ave., Wrightsville, Pa. 17368. Our home is the property to the East of the pictured (map)location on your website. It has 3 lg. BRs, 4th BR of office, 3 exquisite full baths (granite, marble, corian, all new high end fixtures, etc), designer kitchen with granite, tile and total high end renovations, sunroom, 2 fireplaces, 16 finished rooms, hot tub, patio complex with pergola, pond, custom designed 10′ fountain, extensive gardens, orchard, new landscaping, 1.3 parially wooded acres with hill and river views, 2nd garage with paved driveway. 4,307 total finished sq. ft. This DOES NOT compare to the small, crowded, low cost houses in the city of Wrightsville which you used in our price comparison. Please update your map photo and place us in the proper location (see Terra Server USA), and correct our publshed information and use appropriate comps. Thank you. Larry and Mary Howard, owner

Mary-
I’m not going to address a Zillow question here, as your comment is extremely off topic — please post your question in the Using Zillow section of zillow discussions.
Thanks for your understanding.
