Jon Washburn has publicly hinted at the fact that the new Localism site is coming soon. From seeing Jon’s blog post today and looking at the Localism homepage, it seems that day is July 9th.
Any guesses as to what the focus of the new site is going to be?

So how many times has real estate been revolutionized by now?
I’m betting that the most revolutionary thing about the site will be hyphenating “real-estate.”

For AR’s sake, let’s hope that is not the only revolutionary thing about the new Localism.

“real-estate” hahaha!!! I didn’t even catch that. There is at least one more copy error on the screen.
Joe, we are opening up the conversation to the consumer in a new way. Non real estate professionals will be able to participate on Localism in the same way that real estate professionals can.

Looking forward to seeing what you’re doing, Jonathan, in spite of the hype.

Well, I do like the Localism the way it’s been so far. It will be interesting if the User Generated Content is worth while.
What kind of interaction will be available? Q and A? Blog Posting? Communities? Articles? Or some other sub niche?

I’ve spent ten minutes looking at the revolution and can’t take any more.
So far it appears that the revolution consists of trying to brand all Realtors as driveling idiots.
I know better, which is why I can’t bear to look at this stuff.
Someone has looked at this stuff and approved it?
