I have made several "amateur" mistakes in our first 24 hours of existence and we are working quickly to rectify them: adding a cookie to the talking head, glitches, etc. We are on track to have all of the little bugs and glitches remedied by tomorrow at this time. You are right - we are not a blog site. We are a real estate network that is a business tool for real estate professionals. We have blogs and other like-tools so members can opt to implement them if it helps them develop their online brand. We even recently hired the talented guys at http://socialmediasystems.com/blog/ so that our profile pages and member blog posts will be IMMEDIATELY indexed on the search engines to help our members receive traffic directly.
